Gorgeous food. The reastrant has a lovely modern/chic style with well presented, nice food - for such a small town, individual reastrant: it really is a hidden gem with attentive and outgoing waiting staff and the most reasonable prices you can find.
Gorgeous inviting environment, staff attentive. Drink options plentiful. I enjoyed most of what we ordered food wise. However the oysters weren't right. They looked, and tasted off. My colleague finished them by covering with provided garnish. so was no need to send back. However I've grown up eating fresh oysters these looked rather soggy, and tasted foul. The steak, and chips were delightful. As was the haddock rissoto. I would visit again, but will steer clear of oysters. I don't enjoy writing negative reviews at all so I made sure to point out it's quality in all other areas.
Great food, relaxed but vibrant atmosphere. Staff are extremely well mannered and attentive. The premises has recently been fully refurbished to a great standard. A massive asset to my home village of sedgefield.
